Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will support students throughout the school day and help ensure that they can safely and effectively participate in school activities.

Responsibilities may include:

Assisting students with disabilities during school activities;
Helping students move safely from one location to another;
Supporting students’ general well-being, hygiene and safety;
Following instructions contained in individualized education plans;
Providing appropriate assistance based on each student’s needs;
Working collaboratively with school staff and administration;
Maintaining respectful and supportive relationships with students.
