This is a full-time permanent management position with teaching duties, beginning in August 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall administration and educational leadership of the school, including the management of human, financial, material and technological resources.

The principal will work closely with the School Board, Governing Board, school staff, students, parents and community partners to support academic success and maintain a positive, inclusive and supportive school environment.

Main responsibilities

Assess the school’s needs and establish priorities and objectives.
Ensure the application of School Board policies, regulations and decisions.
Support the Governing Board and participate in its meetings.
Promote communication and collaboration among parents, students, staff and community partners.
Supervise and support the professional development of school staff.
Manage several administrative and educational files simultaneously.
Promote the school and maintain strong relationships with the surrounding community.
Adapt educational programs and resources to multi-age and multi-level classes.
Support students with learning, behavioural and special needs.
Encourage school improvement, innovation and student success.
