McGill Bursary Program Projects McGill McGill Bursary Program The Bursary Program is divided into two (2) categories: The purpose of the McGill Health and Social Services Community Leadership Bursary Program is to address the need for professionals with English and French language skills in health and social services in selected Quebec regions. Category 1 is intended to provide financial incentive to students from selected Quebec regions with appropriate English and French language skills pursuing full-time studies in the area of health and social services in a government recognized educational institution located outside their region. Students who are awarded bursaries must commit to returning to a Quebec region following the successful completion of their studies to work for a minimum of one year in a public health and social services institution or related organization. Category 2 is intended to provide financial incentive to students from selected Quebec regions with appropriate English and French language skills pursuing full-time studies in the area of health and social services in a government recognized educational institution located within their region. Students who are awarded bursaries must commit to staying in Quebec region following the successful completion of their studies to work for a minimum of one year in a public health and social services institution or related organization. Bursary Amounts for the 2025-2026 academic year: Students wishing to apply for the Bursary Program must submit their application form to the North Shore Community Association ( Region 09 – participating community network). Cégep / college: Up to $5,000 per student registered for full-time studies. Category 2 University: Up to $5,000 per student registered for full-time studies. Cégep / college: Up to $2,500 per student registered for full-time studies. Secondary school vocational training: Up to $2,000 per student registered for full-time studies.
