Our Objective

“To have a formal Health and Social Ser­vices Networking Partnership Initiative committee consisting of members from community organizations, the health and social services sector and the English-speaking community working to­gether through cooperation and partnership to improve and maintain access to health and social services for the English-speaking population of the Côte-Nord Health Region 09.”

A few accomplishments…

  • Support to the regional health agency and the CISSS’s in our ter­ritory;
  • Wellness activities for seniors;
  • “Stand Up and Be Counted” cam­paign;
  • Assessments and reports on the needs of the North Shore English-speaking population;
  • Delivery of CHEP videoconference sessions in Baie-Comeau and Sept-Îles;
  • Community portrait of Sept-îles, in collaboration with the INSPQ;
  • Production of Community Health Guide: Resources for Seniors;
  • Development of a knowledge base of the English-speaking communities on the North Shore;
  • Intergenerational activities.
