Association des Parents et Amis du Malade Émotionnel (A.P.A.M.E.)

APAME offers a range of services to family members and friends of individuals with mental health issues, attention deficit disorder (with or without hyperactivity), or Tourette syndrome. 

We cover the region from Pointe-aux-Anglais to Lourdes-de-Blanc-Sablon, including Schefferville, Fermont, and Anticosti Island.

Our objectives are to offer support to loved ones, raise awareness and provide information, promote the role of family and friends, combat prejudice, and ensure confidentiality.

Their services include:

• individual, couple, or family counseling (in person, by phone, or by videoconference);
• educational conferences and workshops;
• documentation and resources;
• support groups and social activities;
• accompaniment for psychiatric procedures.
