Youth Resources - Financial Resources

The Provincial Government Loans and Bursaries Program

The Loans and Bursaries Program is meant for full-time students or students deemed full-time in occupational training, college or university programs. The purpose of the program is to enable individuals with insufficient financial resources to pursue their studies by providing financial assistance.

Desjardins Academic’s scholarship

Desjardins Foundation scholarships give many youths access to technical, vocational or post-secondary studies. The Foundation also awards scholarships related to Desjardins employment fields and sectors that help support economic and community development in regions and large urban centres.

TD Canada Trust Leadership Scholarship

TD Scholarships for Community Leadership are open to students across Canada who are in their final year of high school or CEGEP; have a minimum overall grade average of 75% in their most recently completed school year and have demonstrated community leadership.

The Citadel Foundation’s bursaries

The Citadel foundation offers bursaries to students from the Quebec region or studying in the Quebec region seeking to pursue higher education at the post-secondary level. This bursary program has been created to assist students in financial need and who have requested other sources of financial assistance.

There are many programs available that can help students with the cost of post-secondary education. Please contact our office for a database listing of scholarships, bursaries, grants and student awards.
